63rd Year of Pontifical Approval, What Does It Mean?

It means a lot to us Daughters of Saint Paul:

1. The congregation of the Daughters of St. Paul is past the golden years. Last year, we celebrated 100 years.

It's a great challenge to revive the spirit that animated Blessed James Alberione, Venerable Thecla Merlo and the first members.

2. The pontifical approval received on 15th March 1953 was the sign that the structure of life of the members of the institute is what it should be.

3. From the approval of the Mother Church through the Pope, we've reached far and wide.

4. The Sisters prayed for 38 years in order to receive this approval. The faith of the first members was great that where they are is where God wanted them to be.

5. The information received 63 years ago was the source of great joy and hope.  Ever onward Daughters of Saint Paul!

6. We invest all our energies, and whatever we can in bringing the message of Christ across the world through social communications media.

7. Yes, we've reached this far. We are also in Pakistan. Here, in the past 50 years, we have been called: "The Sisters of the Bible": indeed, we are.

"Kalam Ki Sangat" accompanies the reading of "Bible Muqadas". It's a book that explains the Bible texts following the Church Liturgical cycle.
